Preparations for Troma Parades, Street Theater, Cannes Zombie Walk,
Big iconic Troma Party at Le Petite Majestic, and World Premiere of Vol. 2 begin!

On May 17th, The Troma Team will arrive at the Cannes Film Festival to prepare for the World Premiere of Lloyd Kaufman’s Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2 in addition to the many events the Team will be organizing, including Troma Street Theater, political demonstrations on net neutrality, parades, a Cannes Zombie Walk, a Troma Party at La Petite Majestic and much more, it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger.

Troma Entertainment has become a staple at the Cannes Film Festival. The iconic independent film company has been going to the festival for several decades and is known for bringing their unmatched, unique flair for entertainment to the international event. Troma’s Occupy Cannes is getting close to the final stages of production and the Troma Team will be filming at this year’s Cannes film festival to add to this long awaited documentary.

Festival attendees will notice that wherever there is a crowd, there is a Troma event happening nearby. The Troma Team will be organizing several street theater performances to play out on the Promenade de la Croisette throughout their time at the festival, including interpretive dance displays and demonstrations to support net neutrality.

Tromettes, Toxie, Kabukiman, Dolphinman and The Troma Team will be parading around the Croisette!
Troma parades led by Doug Sakmann, star of “Kabukiman’s Cocktail Corner” will snake through the streets of Cannes starting at The Palais. The Troma Team and the NYC Zombie Crawl will be teaming up to form a Cannes Zombie Walk led by Lloyd Kaufman! The legendary Troma Party will be at La Petite Majestic. And finally May 23rd-May 25th, the long awaited World Premiere of Lloyd Kaufman’s second installment of his two-part event film, Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2 will be held at the Arcades 3 (77 Rue Félix Faure, 06400).
