When Charles Dickens was informed he would not be able to publish A Halloween Carol, he stated, “It was the worst of times, it was the best of times… or something”
Greetings from Tromaville! A Troma Entertainment archivist has unearthed the long lost Charles Dickens novella A HALLOWEEN CAROL. When 19th century focus groups found his initial story “too spooky”, Mr. Dickens was forced to rethink his story and shift holidays, resulting in A Christmas Carol, which went on to moderate success.
Thankfully, Troma has unearthed the lost manuscript and adapted it into a short film produced for Youtube Space: A HALLOWEEN CAROL: PUMPKIN SPICE EXTRA SPOOKY EDITION. Written and Directed by Lily-Hayes Kaufman, with cinematography from Charlotte Kaufman, the short features Lloyd Kaufman, Catherine Corcoran, Asta Paredes, and the one and only Toxic Avenger!!!
Because of this, the Toxic Avenger has been named as an honorary member of the TOXIC TUTU parade, held by the makers of the mockumentary chronicling the life and times of Mark Torgl (Melvin the Mopboy from the original Toxic Avenger). Starting at 4 pm on Halloween night, they will take to the streets of NYC to celebrate Troma and the holiday. Details can be found at http://www.toxictutu.com/, come out and support good people having a good time!!
Later Halloween night, Tromians in NYC can go to The People’s Improv Theater at 11 o’clock to see Welcome to Hell, hosted by Vincent Welles, Master of the Occult! Vincent is accompanied by his werewolf sidekick and band leader Warren Talbot as well as notable guests, including the Toxic Avenger himself! The show will also feature clips from the new RETURN TO RETURN TO NUKE EM HIGH AKA VOL. 2! All info can be found at https://thepit-nyc.com/event/2015-10-31-welcome-to-hell-helloween-spooktacular.

The 1994 smash hit, Class of Nuke ‘Em High 3: The Good, The Bad and The Subhumanoidis newly restored and in high-definition! The third installment of the Class of Nuke ‘Em High film series picks up where part 2 ended-the Tromaville power plant was destroyed by a giant mutant squirrel and Roger Smith has to save the day. In part three, Roger’s twin sons, Adlai and Dick, must foil the monstrous plan concocted by Dr. Slag, PhD to turn Tromavillians against Dick and Adlai and to turn all of Tromaville into a toxic wasteland. Three times as evil than the original, and the new Blu-Ray edition has special features any Tromaniac would kill to get their hands on-Interview with star Lisa Gaye, trailers of the saga, as well as director’s commentary. What better way to celebrate all hallows eve then with the Nuke ‘Em High trilogy?
After watching Adlai and Dick battle an army of subhumanoid Tromavillians, get ready for “five blood curdling horror films” presented by paranormal investigator Damien Shadows in Theatre of The Deranged II being released on Blu-Ray this month. “This anthology is fun as hell and offers up some originality covered in blood,” said Horror Society. “Watch this movie or die an excruciating death!”
The Troma Team is pleased to announce the acquisition of THE BC BUTCHER, the first ever prehistoric slasher flick courtesy of the mind of wunderkind Kansas Bowling. Displaying talent and imagination that far surpasses her seventeen years, the film features amputations, disembowelment, psychedelic dreams, cute cave chicks, buff dudes in loin cloths, and a punk rock band playing guitars made out of watermelons. THE BC BUTCHER truly has something for everyone!
Shot entirely on 16mm film, the movie comes from a script written by Ms. Bowling and her high school friend Kenzie Givens and can be described as a potent mix between Quest for Fire, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Rock & Roll High School.
After a group of contempuous cavewomen torture and kill one of their own over a romantic betrayal, a disfigured loner, known only as The Butcher (Dwayne Johnson (not The Rock)), discovers and falls deeply in love with the mutilated corpse. He proceeds on a bloody path of revenge, picking off the sexy murderers one by one.
The film is narrated by Kadeem Hardison (A Different World, Troma’s Def by Tempation) and features Kato Kaelin (BASEketball) alongside a host of up-and-coming actresses including: Leilani Fideler (Pretty Little Liars), Parker Love Bowling, Natasha Halevi, Devyn Leah, Molly Elizabeth Ring, and Miranda Robin. The film also boasts cameo appearances by Duck-Duck and Rodney Bingenheimer, California’s KROQ DJ, who lovingly refers to THE BC BUTCHER as the “prehistoric Manson girls.”
Featuring a rock & roll soundtrack from The Ugly Kids, THE BC BUTCHER is no doubt the definitive tongue-in-cheek horror film set in the paleolithic era. Troma is excited to share THE BC BUTCHER with the world in early 2016!

Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment Inc. and creator of The Toxic Avenger, presents Troma’s “A Halloween Carol” a Tromatic twist on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The Troma Team might have been a bit befuddled by this, because unfortunately “A Halloween Carol ” was originally released for Arbor Day. Therefore, no one really gave a candy corn crap about it. Troma has decided to re-release The Pumpkin Spice Edition of “A Halloween Carol,” and it is available immediately for the actual month of October.
Directed and written by Lily Hayes Kaufman, with Charlotte Kaufman as Director of Photography and featuring members of the accomplished NYC Comedy Troupe, MurderFist. It’s All Hallows Eve in Tromaville and Lloydbenezer Scrooge is visited by an old friend-his dead partner Marley Herz. Marley informs him that he will be visited by three ghosts, the Toxie of the past, present, and future. Without giving too much away, the reason for these unexpected house calls is to help Lloydbenezer realize the horrific consequences if he doesn’t make Troma films available on YouTube for fans to watch.
