Following two extremely successful west coast appearances at Stan Lee’s Comikaze and the American Film Market, Lloyd Kaufman is flying into Melbourne, Australia for his first “true blue” Monsterfest film festival. On November 23-24, Kaufman will be hosting two exclusive Monsterfest events: an all day ‘Make Your Own Damn Movie’ Masterclass and a very special Troma double-bill.
Legendary filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of the Toxic Avenger, will be at the 2014 American Film Market (Suite #708) to showcase Troma’s 800+ money-making titles. This year marks Troma Entertainment’s 33rd year in attendance at AFM as well as its 40th year in the independent filmmaking business. To mark the occasion, Kaufman will be personally delivering Troma’s new films in a state-of-the-art security case for their AFM reveal.
Troma’s expansive catalog, known for classics like The Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke Em High, Tromeo & Juliet, and the recent Return to Nuke Em High: Volume 1, continues to grow larger every year. With over 800 titles, Troma’s catalog (one of the largest in private hands) continues to attract the attention of VOD representatives from around the world.
This year, the Troma Team will be offering private screenings of their hotly anticipated work-in-progress Return to Nuke Em High: Volume 2, now in post-production.Return to Nuke Em High: Volume 1 is currently being distributed by Starz and Anchor Bay Films. Screenings available by appointment only.
