Lloyd Kaufman is coming to Albuquerque Comic Expo (ACE) next weekend! Lloyd will be meeting fans and signing merchandise for free at the Troma booth, as well as introducing screenings at the 9th annual TromaDance New Mexico. Other popular guests appearing at ACE over the weekend will include Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes and Stan Lee.

TromaDance New Mexico is a 3 day event produced by Kurly Tlapoyawa of legendary underground video store Burning Paradise, celebrating the finest in independent film from around the world. The festival, as well as all the other events of the Comic Expo will take place June 8th-10th at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Troma Entertainment is pleased to announce that the limited edition blu-ray release of FATHER’S DAY in time for Father’s Day will now be a four-disc set! The set, which will contain the film on high definition blu-ray and standard definition DVD, plus a DVD of extra features, and a CD soundtrack EP with songs from the movie including “The Hunter” and “We Are the Universe” from acclaimed musician Smokey Miles, will be available June 12.

The gritty, gruesome, VHS throwback FATHER’S DAY follows that classic story we all grew up with: boy watches father raped and murdered, boy grows into a vengeful one-eyed man, man teams up with a priest and a male prostitute to take down his father’s killer. To celebrate the release of Troma’s very LIMITED EDIITION BIG BOX VHS of The Toxic Avenger, Toxie’s creator and President of Troma Entertainment, Lloyd Kaufman will be signing copies in person at Forbidden Planet  840 Broadway, New York 10003 this Thursday night. The VHS will be available for sale at the event, which begins at 7:30pm.
