Water replenishes us, provides oxygen and gives us life… but this new batch is causing the deaths of women everywhere! International Troma Tuesdays In Brooklyn & Toronto Now Showing “Story of a Junkie” on April 9th at 9 PM!

Forget Trainspotting and Requiem For a Dream; this is the real deal. Put this in your Big Apple and smoke it!

He’s no plumber, but he’s pushing down on a plunger, alright! When Gringo emigrates from Los Angeles to the Big Apple, he searches for his family and a life of fortune and fame. Unfortunately, he finds nothing but misery and addiction as he’s pulled into a world of heroin junkies.

This movie has been hailed by many as one of the best films Troma has ever released, and continues to have a cult following thirty years after its release. A documentary more insightful than any movie about drugs can attempt to be, ‘Story of a Junkie’ is one of the most ultimate anti-drug films that will leave any viewer (un)comfortably numb.

Troma Tuesday screenings are continuing in Brooklyn’s Film Noir Cinema, and now the Grand Gerrard Theatre in Toronto, Canada! Every screening now starts at 9 PM, and admission is completely FREE!

Announcing International Troma Tuesdays In Brooklyn, Toronto & Sydney Starting This April!

Now Showing ‘The Thingy: Confessions of a Teenage Placenta’ on April 2nd at 9 PM!

No April Fools joke! Troma Tuesdays have gone a step further (up North, that is) to bring free screenings to both Brooklyn, Toronto and Sydney, Australia (on the 23rd & 30th)!

A bodybuilder gives birth to a living placenta named Luke, who struggles to keep his peaceful, Christian beliefs and ideals in an unforgivingly harsh and judgmental world, and it’s only a matter of time before too much cruelty sends him over the edge… It’s ‘Boyhood’ if that movie was actually good!
This shocking and surprisingly heartfelt film that ‘pays respectable homage to the godfather of neo-grindhouse Frank Henenlotter” (Ben Spurling, Horror News) is one that’ll make you happy you’re a human being. Using some of the most innovative practical effects seen in recent years, ‘The Thingy’ is what Ain’t It Cool News describes as “A cult classic in the making!”
Troma Tuesday screenings are continuing in Brooklyn’s Lucky 13 Saloon, and now the Grand Gerrard Theatre in Toronto, Canada! Every screening now starts at 9 PM, and admission is completely FREE!
