14th Annual TromaDance Announces 2013 Short Film Selections
The TromaDance Film Festival Selection Committee is pleased to announce its short film selections for the 14th Annual TromaDance Film Festival, to be held on April 12-13 at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ. “The short films that the TromaDance Selection Committee chose this year represent truly independent filmmaking and show that the independent spirit is alive and well across the world,” said TromaDance founder Lloyd Kaufman. “The selections for this year’s festival come from the United States, Canada, England, Lithuania, Iran, Italy, Germany, Spain, and France!” Below are the official 14th Annual TromaDance short film selections: Read more…

Lloyd Kaufman’s ‘Live Free or Die’ New Hampshire Tour: March 20-22
Lloyd Kaufman’s highly anticipated ‘live free or die’ tour of New Hampshire begins TONIGHT! This evening, Wednesday, March 20th, at 7:30 PM, Kaufman will appear at Troma-Fest 2013’s screening of The Toxic Avenger at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, at 125 Bow St. in Portsmouth, NH. In addition to an introduction and Q&A session, Kaufman will show exclusive, work-in-progress footage from the latest Troma Team production, Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol. 1. Troma DVD’s, T-Shirts, and other amazing pieces of Tromabilia will also be available. Admission is only $20.
On Friday, March 22nd, at 7:00 PM, Kaufman will make a second appearance in the Granite State for a double-feature of The Taint and Tromeo & Juliet in the Redfern Arts Center-Putnam Theatre at Keene State College in Keene, NH. In addition to a Q&A, Troma DVD’s, T-Shirts, and Tromabilia will be again be available. As an added bonus, Kaufman will be appearing in a music video to be shot in the Putnam Theatre at 2 PM on the same day, Friday, March 22nd.
