Birdemic 2 Will Have New Jersey Premiere at the 14th Annual TromaDance​-April 13th!

BIRDEMIC 2 WILL HAVE NEW JERSEY PREMIERE AT 14TH ANNUAL TROMADANCE, APRIL 13TH:
Featuring Q & A with Director James Nguyen
The TromaDance Selection Committee is pleased to announce that Birdemic 2: The Resurrection will have its New Jersey Premiere at the 14th Annual TromaDance Film Festival at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ on Saturday, April 13th at 11PM. A Q&A with director James Nguyen, the Master of Romantic Thrillers™, will follow. Birdemic: Shock and Terror and its enigmatic director were discovered by Troma during TromaDance 2009, and the series has since become favorite among horror fans. Admission to the screening at TromaDance is $10.
“The TromaDance selection committee went cuckoo for Birdemic 2!” says TromaDance founder Lloyd Kaufman. “Given our history of  playing socially significant films, we thought that James Nguyen’s  Hitchcockian vision of ‘Hollywood under ecological and avian distress’ made it a perfect fit for the festival which is now in its 14th year.”

A flock of eagles and vultures wreak havoc amidst blossoming romance in  Hollywood, California, leaving bloodshed and destruction wherever they  hover. The story features original ‘Birdemic’ survivors Rod and Nathalie, who are joined by new friends-struggling filmmaker Bill, aspiring actress Gloria and several other Angelenos they encounter as  they battle angry birds and a host of new enemies

14th Annual TromaDance Announces 2013 Short Film Selections

Lloyd Kaufman’s ‘Live Free or Die’ New Hampshire Tour: March 20-22

Lloyd Kaufman’s highly  anticipated ‘live free or die’ tour of New Hampshire begins TONIGHT!  This evening, Wednesday, March 20th, at 7:30 PM, Kaufman will appear at  Troma-Fest 2013’s screening of The Toxic Avenger at the Seacoast  Repertory Theatre, at 125 Bow St. in Portsmouth, NH. In addition to an  introduction and Q&A session, Kaufman will show exclusive, work-in-progress footage from the latest Troma Team production, Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol. 1.  Troma DVD’s, T-Shirts,  and other amazing pieces of Tromabilia will also be available. Admission is  only $20.

On Friday, March 22nd, at 7:00 PM, Kaufman will make a second  appearance in the Granite State for a double-feature of The Taint and  Tromeo & Juliet in the Redfern Arts Center-Putnam Theatre at Keene  State College in Keene, NH. In addition to a Q&A, Troma DVD’s,  T-Shirts, and Tromabilia will be again be available. As an added bonus,  Kaufman will be appearing in a music video to be shot in the Putnam  Theatre at 2 PM on the same day, Friday, March 22nd.
