RETURN TO NUKE ‘EM HIGH VOL 1 PREMIERES IN FINLAND AT THE NIGHT VISIONS FILM FESTIVAL

In headline-making news, this week Troma President and Creator of the Toxic Avenger, Lloyd Kaufman, will be traveling to Finland as an honorary guest of the Night Visions Film Festival in Helsinki. Night Visions, “the biggest and the oldest festival in Finland to focus on horror, fantasy, science fiction and action cinema”, will showcase two of the legendary director’s Tro-Masterpieces and Premiere his latest and greatest film, “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1.” Beginning on Thursday, April 10th “Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead,” the first ever Musical Horror-Comedy about Chicken Zombies and the final film Kaufman directed on 35mm, will screen theatrically for the first time in Finland! This weekend Ohio officially becomes “TRO-hio when Lloyd Kaufman returns to attend the Cinema Wasteland Movie & Memorabilia Expo and to Premiere his latest film “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1”, in two different cities – Cleveland Heights and Columbus!  Beginning on Friday April 4th, Lloyd Kaufman will be attending Cinema Wasteland weekend at the Holiday Inn in Strongsville, Ohio. The legendary auteur and filmmaker will be available along with Toxie for FREE Photo Opportunities and to sign any and all of your favorite Tromabilia for absolutely no charge for the whole weekend. 15TH ANNUAL TROMADANCE FILM FESTIVAL EXPANDS TO BROOKLYN, NY JUNE 27TH & 28TH AT THE PAPER BOX!

15th ANNUAL TROMADANCE DATE CHANGED-TO BE THE BIGGEST TROMADANCE YET!

 

 

Good news, TromaDance expands! In honor of it’s 15th Anniversary, the TromaDance Film Festival will be moving to a bigger and better location, possibly right here in New York City. The date has been changed to a tba date in June, allowing all guests, filmmakers, and attendees plenty of time to make their travel arrangements. The American Cinematheque Honors Lloyd Kaufman, Michael Herz & 40 Years of Troma Entertainment

We invite you all to join us this Saturday March 29, 2014 as the prestigious American Cinematheque will be honoring 40 years of Lloyd Kaufman, Michael Herz, and Troma Entertainment with an evening of tribute paying homage to the films of the legendary director at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California beginning at 7:30pm.  The four Tro-mazing films selected to be showcased are:
