The Party will be hosted by Troma President Lloyd Kaufman and Toxie, music will be provided by internationally known DJ The Toxic Avenger.

Since making it’s World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last year, the first chapter of legendary director Lloyd Kaufman’s epic two-part Event film “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1” has become a tour de force.  Cementing it’s legacy with it’s selection into the Museum of Modern Art’s prestigious “Contenders” Series and having been honored by the world-renowned American Cinematheque, “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1” continues to screen all over the world in front of packed movie houses and festival audiences, winning awards, and garnering critical acclaim. “Powered by ribald bursts of bad taste and bodily fluids… The overall effect is [sic] joyous.” – New York Times

Next Saturday April 26th Lloyd Kaufman’s latest TroMasterpiece, “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1,” makes it’s highly anticipated Philadelphia Premiere as an official selection of the Cinedelphia Film Festival at PhilaMOCA, the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art.  With two Exclusive Screenings at 10pm & Midnight as part of the closing events for Philadelphia’s most unique Film Festival, legendary director and creator of the “Toxic Avenger,” Lloyd Kaufman, will be in attendance to introduce his sistine chapel film to the City of Brotherly Love.  He will be joined by stars of “Return to Nuke ‘Em High” Catherine Corcoran, Asta Paredes, Clay von Carlowitz, Zac Amico, Vito Trigo, Mark Quinette, and The Toxic Avenger for a crowd interactive Q & A session after the Premiere.  They will all be available to meet afterwards for FREE Photo Opportunities and autograph signings at the Troma table on all of your favorite Tromabilia.  And join the cast and crew at the Institute Bar after the screening for Tromatic drink specials!

In celebration of the 15th Annual TromaDance moving to it’s New Home in Brooklyn, New York our good friends at Videology will be hosting an ABSOLUTELY FREE Screening of the Original 1986 cult smash “Class of Nuke ‘Em High!”  Join Lloyd Kaufman, ORIGINAL “Class of Nuke ‘Em High Cast Members Rick Howard and James Nugent Vernon aka CJ PhillipS, as well as the cast & crew of the new “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Volumes 1 & 2” in paying homage to the film that started it all off with an Atomic High! Following the screening Cine Theatric’s Erik Luers will moderate a Q & A session with the legendary director and stars of both films.  Troma Entertainment is pleased to announce the first official feature of the 15th Annual TromaDance Film Festival. Drew Bolduc’s science fiction horror-comedy “Science Team” will make it’s New York City Premiere on the opening night of the Festival at 8:30pm.*

“Science Team” is a satirical independent film about a national organization, called Science Team, whose main purpose is to maintain interstellar peace and protect America from the many alien threats that seek to destroy us. They respond to an emergency call from a typical suburban home and are confronted by a giant sessile alien menace with telepathic powers. In headline-making news, this week Troma President and Creator of the Toxic Avenger, Lloyd Kaufman, will be traveling to Finland as an honorary guest of the Night Visions Film Festival in Helsinki. Night Visions, “the biggest and the oldest festival in Finland to focus on horror, fantasy, science fiction and action cinema”, will showcase two of the legendary director’s Tro-Masterpieces and Premiere his latest and greatest film, “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1.” Beginning on Thursday, April 10th “Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead,” the first ever Musical Horror-Comedy about Chicken Zombies and the final film Kaufman directed on 35mm, will screen theatrically for the first time in Finland!
